Start with your hourly or day-rate floor from the freelance rate calculator. Then add a risk buffer for unclear scope, urgent timelines, stakeholder complexity, and delayed approvals.
Example
A project expected to take 4 delivery days at AED 2,000/day has a raw value of AED 8,000. With a 20% buffer for discovery, meetings, and revisions, the estimate becomes AED 9,600 before any extra scope.
